My Dash (2012-2016)
I want my dash to represent me as a well known student-athlete who was not just known for being a great volleyball player, but also a hardworking student who always got her work done. I want to be known as a respectful person, and someone who could give you advice on anything you needed help with. I want to be known as a leader and role model, and as a person who was always involved in the University. I want professors to remember me as a dedicated student who always wanted to succeed, and I want my coaches to remember me as a determined and disciplined volleyball player on the court, also.

10/17/2012 Fixed vs. Growth Mindset
I feel that I have the growth mindset because I always see the glass half full. I'm always ready and willing to learn anything new that I don't already know. I want to improve myself in any way possible, and I find myself wanting to learn more and more so that I can grow as a person. I love learning new things, and I am always up for a challenge if I don't know something. I see the best in people, and I look to improve myself and others in any way possible whether it be for volleyball, school, or in everyday life. I especially think this way in volleyball because you can always better yourself whether it be increasing the number of kills per game or keeping your passing average at a 2.30 because you can always get better no matter what. I feel the same way about my schooling because if I know that I got a bad grade on a test I will do no matter what it takes to improve my grade on the next one. I find that I do have the growth mindset, and I'm happy to realize that I do!

The one word I would want people to describe me as is excitable because I love to have fun. I like have a good time and make people laugh. I am an exciting person, and I enjoy other peoples company. I'm easily entertained and I will laugh at pretty much anything and everything someone says that's the least bit funny. I always have a smile on my face, and I love making peoples day brighter.
